NeverQuestAlone is open source: the app, the addon and what the AI is told, in one public repository. Build it yourself, check what it does, or release your own.

NeverQuestAlone’s desktop app at Connect your AI: Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini and Other, each with what a day costs, and “Claude is connected.”

What’s in the source

Each part below is in the source, with the tests that check it.

  1. The addon

The HUD, your route on the map, and the colored bar that carries your messages

  2. NeverQuestAlone’s desktop app

    • Keys in the system keychain

API keys stay in the macOS Keychain or Windows Credential Manager, never in the game.

    • Costs you can see

Every reply’s cost is counted, and you can set a daily spend limit.

    • Only the AI you picked

It talks only to that AI, and to GitHub for updates.

    • Signed updates

An update installs only if it carries the app’s own signature.

  3. What it knows

The prompts, the game data and the quest logic

Build it in 3 steps

  1. Get started Clone the code, run its tests and start the app.

  2. See how it’s built Where each part lives, and how a message travels.

  3. Release your own Give it your name, sign it as yourself and publish it. Your users get each new release as an update.
